Dear MDA,
Cross Street Chapel has a rich history of civic involvement, having been the spiritual home to many Manchester political figures, as well as involved in the forming of some of its prominent institutions.
Today two of those bodies are brought together, with Harris Manchester College (originally the Manchester Academy, founded in Cross Street Chapel) hosting a talk on the Guardian.
Please find details below!
The Principal of Harris Manchester College warmly invites you to a special online lecture:
‘Much more than a business: the first 200 years of The Guardian’
to be given by
Alan Rusbridger, former editor of The Guardian
and current Principal of Lady Margaret Hall
Today, Tuesday, 4 May at 5 p.m., the eve of the newspaper’s 200th anniversary.
With care,
Cody
