Dear Manchester Congregations,
The past 18 months presented unforeseen challenges for us. How we work, communicate and even spend our free time has been affected by the pandemic and subsequent lockdown. No less impacted has been our faith: how we worship, how we feel about and within the world; even our personal rituals have undergone a transformation.
Cross Street Chapel would like to know how your faith was affected at this time. We are delighted to welcome Abigail Depin, a recent Religions and Anthropology graduate from the University of Manchester. Miss Depin has kindly agreed to oversee a project for Cross Street Chapel. She will conduct interviews (15-30 mins) at chapel and on Zoom to better understand how Unitarians in Manchester were affected by Coronavirus. The hope is to explore our journey, as well as create a record for our archives about Manchester Unitarians’ response to the pandemic.
Please write to depin.abigail@gmail.com to express your interest.
With care,
Cody Coyne
