Blue Christmas Zoom Service

 

Monton Unitarian Church is holding its Blue Christmas Service on Wednesday 16th December, at 7.30pm, on Zoom.  The joining details are below.  

 

The Blue Christmas Service is a time of quiet words and music, silence and candle lighting, where we remember those people we have loved and lost over the years, and allow ourselves to acknowledge and sit with the grief and sadness that we try so hard to hide during this season.   There is no preaching, no misguided attempts to explain or deny – just acceptance, welcome, quiet support, and loving community.  Please do come if this is something that would be helpful to you – and forward it to anyone who you know who might also want to come.  Everyone is welcome. 

 

Although we shall not have our normal ‘Zoom Chat’ this Wednesday, those who have attended the Blue Christmas are welcome to stay on Zoom afterwards for a time of conversation and sharing. 

 

The service itself will be being filmed live, and this recording will be circulated afterwards on YouTube for those who were unable to attend on the evening itself.
