Flower Communion

Flower Communion - Sunday 7th June

Dear friends

our service this Sunday is our annual flower communion – normally we would bring a single flower to place in the common vase, and would then be gifted a different flower to take home with us.  This year, for obvious reasons, we are having to do things a little differently!

I am therefore inviting anyone who would like to participate, to send me a short piece about their favourite flower – what it is, what it looks like, and why it is special to them – and a short blessing to go with it if you wish.  That will the become part of the service – and if you join us for the zoom service, you will have the option to read your piece aloud – or I can read it for you.

I need to have any entries by midday tomorrow if possible, so that I can film the pre-recorded version for those who prefer to watch that.  I’m sorry that doesn’t give much time, but I’m only looking for a short paragraph, or even just a couple of sentences.

Thank you in advance, and I hope you will join us for our service on Sunday.  The Zoom invitation, and the pre-recorded version along with the word document will hopefully be coming out on Friday night.

Blessings
Anna
