In the first of our series of “Congregations in the Community”, hear the exciting story of how Ullet Road Unitarian Church, Liverpool, created a thriving youth programme; ministered to thousands in the community through table tennis, salsa dancing, and French lessons; reached out to perform rites of passage for underserved communities; started a refugee football team; and more. It may provide an idea or two for your congregation, and at the very least promises to be a very entertaining evening. Rev. Phil Waldron will share the experiences of the Ullet Road community. Q & A session facilitated by Rev. Bob Janis-Dillon to follow.
