Greetings to you at this most significant of festivals for both our communities.
This is some good news of a date to put into your diaries later this month.
Manchester CCJ invites you to an early evening meeting to examine “God’s Unfailing Word” – the Church of England’s first attempt to set out formally its teaching in the area of Christian-Jewish relations.
We shall have with us, on Zoom:
· Rt Revd Michael Ipgrave, Bishop of Lichfield, Chair of CCJ Trustees, and the chair of the group that wrote God’s Unfailing Word
· Rabbi David Rosen, the International Director of Interreligious Affairs of AJC, the American Jewish Committee and Director of its Heilbrunn Institute for International Interreligious Understanding.
· Sister Teresa Brittain, of the Sisters of Zion, and a CCJ Trustee
Rabbi Rosen will be joining us from Israel.
For this reason, we will be meeting at 5.30 p.m. our time on Wednesday 28th April. The meeting will last until 7.00 p.m.
I shall circulate full details after the festivals. In the meantime, please keep the day and the time free.
Chag Sameach and Easter Greetings,
Steve Williams
