Challenging Anti-Semitism, Islamophobia and Hate Crime

Challenging Anti-Semitism, Islamophobia and Hate Crime

The Challenging Anti-Semitism, Islamophobia and Hate Crime in Manchester project is nearing the end of its first stage and we invite any women from any community to join us in one (or both) of two workshops at our new Manchester Multifaith Centre.

The first workshop will be held this Friday 20th December and the other on Sunday 22nd December. Both workshops will be from 10.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and a light lunch and refreshments will be provided.

These workshops are designed to learn from the experience of women who have been victims of antisemitism, Islamophobia or any other form of hate crime. We hope to equip the participants with knowledge and skills to overcome future incidents of hate crime and how to respond to them. We also intend to use these workshops as a platform for further work in January to devise anti-discrimination resources with more women and young people, which we will make available to community groups, schools and youth groups.

To book your place on either workshop please email admin@fn4m.org by Thursday 19th December or ring 0161 227 9822 or 07879 454292.

We will also hold a final workshop in the New Year, so if you cannot join us for either of these workshops but are interested in participating in this project, please do let us know.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to get in touch.
