Greater Manchester’s ‘Home Truths’ Listening Campaign

Greater Manchester’s
'Home Truths' Listening Campaign

On 7 May 2020, Greater Manchester will have an election to decide who the next mayor will be.

Ahead of this, we are working with our community allies to run our Home Truths listening campaign across the ten boroughs of the city-region.

At Shelter, we want to uncover housing issues that we can campaign on together. After we’ve identified issues we all experience, we will work together to think of solutions and then put a range of campaign asks to mayoral candidates for approval.

how can you get involved?

You can join our campaign by taking our quick online survey, telling us your housing issues and what you’d do to fix them.

tell us about your housing problems here:

And this spring, we will hold a citizens assembly for hundreds of our supporters and ask the candidates in the 2020 Greater Manchester Mayoral election to back our plan for ending the housing emergency.

We would love you to join us as we demand change to end the housing emergency in our region.
