Thursday 26th January 7 – 8:15 pm: Heart and Soul on Zoom
Join our contemplative spiritual gathering in which you can take time to reflect on life in the company of others. Each session follows a regular pattern, including readings and music, time for guided prayers of gratitude, compassion for others, self-reflection, and silent meditation. Led by Laura Dobson. All welcome.
The theme for Heart and Soul next week is ‘Taking Pictures.’
‘Photography for me is a spiritual practice. It’s a discipline that connects me more closely to the core of the universe and the core of my own being. It opens my eyes and, in doing so, allows my heart and soul to open, as well…. God gave me photography so that I could pray with my eyes.’ – Dewitt Jones

Saturday 28th January 3 – 4 pm Earth Spirit Circle, in the Church
Join us to celebrate Imbolc, the Celtic fire festival of awakening. At Imbolc we clear away the debris of winter, preparing the ground for the first ploughing and sowing. We welcome the returning light and the stirrings of Springtime, as the first green shoots and the snowdrops push through the soil, giving us encouragement and confidence to light the fires of hope and inspiration in our hearts.
Please feel free to bring poems, prayers, readings, songs, stories, etc. to share with the group.
Please also feel free to bring food to share afterwards if you can.
Sunday 29th January 10.30 – 11.30 am: Sunday Gathering in the Church
Join us for this week’s worship service led by our guest worship leader Geoff Levermore, exploring God, the mystery of creation. All welcome.
The service builds on Geoff’s recent article in July’s edition of the Inquirer.
We look forward to seeing you.
