Easter Reflection With Rev Anna Jarvis

Easter Reflection with Rev Anna Jarvis

Dear all

I hope this finds you well.  While we are adapting in some ways to our new situation, the fear and tension is still ever present.  Please remember to be gentle to yourself at this time – firstly, it is completely natural to be having ‘wobbles’, and you are in plenty of good company when you do.  And secondly please don’t put any pressure on yourself to be really productive while stuck at home – some days it’s a big enough achievement just to crawl out from under the duvet, and that alone should be celebrated. Any suggestion that this could be the time you write the novel, or learn the new language should be put firmly in the bin – because this is the time you need to concentrate on breathing and being and resting!

I’m attaching two things for you.  Firstly, Easter Sunday’s reflection in written form.  And secondly, a video recording of me leading said worship!  For those who would like to watch, you should just be able to click on to the video link and it will start playing. I’m told it shouldn’t take too long to load, but maybe set it up just a bit in advance.  If you prefer to just read it yourself, that’s absolutely fine.

But at 10.45am tomorrow morning, I hope you will join me – alone in body, but together in spirit.

Blessings
Anna
