Tuesday 28th June 12.30 – 1.30 pm: Tao on Tuesday in Chapel
Join us for our meditation on the Tao Te Ching. We read a short passage, enjoy a time of shared silence for meditation and then share our reflections on the text. All welcome.
Tuesday 28th June 7 – 7.45 pm: Poetry Meditation on Zoom
Join the Unitarian Transformers for a meditation on the poetry of Rainer Maria Rilke. from his Book of Hours, exploring the fertile dark…
Rainer Maria Rilke (1875 – 1926) was a mystical poet, born in Prague (then part of Austria-Hungary) who travelled extensively across Europe. It was his visits to Russia and his experiences with Orthodox Christianity that inspired the Book of Hours.
We will be meditating with a modified version of the monastic Lectio Divina practice – a method of engaging with sacred texts in four parts – reading, reflecting, responding, resting.
Led by Laura Dobson. No previous experience of meditation required. All welcome.

Sunday 3rd July 10 – 11 am: Sunday Gathering in the Chapel
Flower communion – one of the few uniquely Unitarian rituals, the flower communion celebrates the unity and diversity of our community through the sharing of flowers. The first such ceremony was first held in June 1923 by Norbert and Maja Capek at their church in Prague. Norbert was executed by the Nazis in Dachau in 1942. Join us to remember their lives and celebrate our community through the beauty of flowers. Led by Laura Dobson. All welcome.
PLEASE BRING A FLOWER WITH YOU IF YOU CAN.
